La Petite Charrue, our charming south Brittany B&B, is situated on the edge of small village called Béganne, in the department of Morbihan. The village is well supplied with bars, tabacs and a restaurant and our nearest major town is Redon. The small town of Allaire, which again has bars, tabacs and restaurants, is within 10 minutes from us.

Activities

We are near many interesting activities and attractions:

Golfers will enjoy La Bretesche, an 18 hole golf course in the grounds of a chateau and century old forest. A ten minute car ride will take you to the local 9 hole golf course at Caden.

Families of all ages will enjoy the wonderful wildlife park and botanic gardens at Branfere which is only 20 minutes away.

Coast and Beaches

Long stretches of sandy beaches await you at Damgon. Closer, the small sandy cove at Billiers is great for young families. The picturesque sailing port of Port de Foleux, with restaurant facilities, is within easy reach.

Beautiful medieval towns of La Roche Bernard and the walled town of Guerande, steeped in tradition and history. Another 15 minutes further will bring you to the local salt marshes and the beautiful beaches of Le Baule.

At La Charrue, we're "biker friendly" and can offer all you need for your stay:

  • Secure parking for bikes
  • Storage for Panniers, leathers, boots etc
